DLH me reading

My dates, so far for 2018. If you are in the area, do come and say Hi, I will be happy to sign a book for you.

Feb 11th 2018: Renowned Films convention in Rickmansworth. Very excited about this Talking Pictures event. I will be signing my books, along with Melvyn Hayes, my hubby, (Brian Murphy), Rita Tushingham, Shirley Ann Fields, Robert Ross and many other faces.

March 3rd: I am delighted to be returning to Portsmouth, for the literary festival. I gained a Masters degree at this university there, in Creative writing and journalism. On this day I will be chairing a panel of crime writers, and then in conversation with my Hubby (Actor Brian Murphy), who grew up in Portsmouth. He will be chatting to me about his rise from here to fame.

April 21st- It is Jack the Ripper again. I will be hosting an evening at the cinema Museum, with some of the stars of the film. It is a fascinating subject and will be a great night. Who doesn’t love this mystery. The film’s director will be there too, to tell us all about his fascinating research and the conclusion he came to, about who the Ripper really was.

May 23rd- I am honoured and humbled to be at St Thomas’s hospital in London, signing my books in the foyer, alongside many other well known crime authors, including my friends David Barry, and Hugh Fraser (Hugh will also be appearing at the Jack the Ripper evening, as he played the Commissioner in the film, as well as being a first class, and extremely readable crime author. All profits from this event will be going to friends of the hospital to help Children’s cancer ward, and others. I was an inmate in their wonderful sister hospital Guys, and will always be indebted to them for saving my life.
