Born in London, Linda Regan comes from a richly theatrical background as the daughter of a comedy magician, theatrical agent, and comedy bandleader. Leaving school at an early age, she first stepped into the world of entertainment through club comedy before discovering her true passion for acting.
Her professional career began in repertory theatre, where she performed in productions ranging from Shakespearean drama to classic farce in theatres across the country. This led to a leading role in Tom Stoppard’s acclaimed West End production of Dirty Linen, followed by a period performing with the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company.
Linda has since built an extensive career across television, film, and theatre. She became widely recognised for her regular role in the hugely popular Hi-de-Hi!, while also appearing in many of Britain’s leading television dramas and
feature films.
Alongside her acting career, Linda is also an accomplished author, writing a successful series of crime novels that reflect her lifelong fascination with storytelling and character.
